Hotel Termal is located in Mataruška Banja, on the banks of the Ibar river, about 10 km from Kraljevo. It operates within P.D. „Mataruška i Bogutovačka Banja“, together with Hotel Mineral in Bogutovačka Banja.
Across three renovated floors, the hotel has 63 rooms and apartments, each with a terrace and a modern bathroom. Guests have a spa centre with an indoor recreational pool, a hydromassage tub in a rock setting, tepidariums and a sauna, a dining hall where meals are served, a lobby bar open from 7 am to 11 pm, and an events hall for up to 500 guests.
The hotel also has a special hospital for spa treatment – physical electrotherapy and hydrotherapy in tubs with thermal water, with its own medical staff: doctors, technicians and physiotherapists.

Mataruška Banja
Mataruška Banja came into being in 1898, when thermal springs were discovered on the right bank of the Ibar – the first visitors bathed there that very year. It takes its name from the nearby village of Mataruge and is today among the most visited spas in Serbia.
The spa lies at the foot of the Stolovi mountain, surrounded by greenery and riverside walks. It is known for its sulphurous thermal mineral water, which reaches about 46 degrees at the spring and has been used in spa treatment and rehabilitation for more than a century.
Thermal mineral water
The water of Mataruška Banja is classified as a sodium-magnesium-hydrocarbonate, sulphide, fluoride and silicate hyperthermal water. Its main therapeutic component is hydrogen sulphide, which gives it a characteristic smell of sulphur. In spa treatment it is used for degenerative and inflammatory rheumatic conditions, states following injuries and surgery, certain gynaecological conditions and some chronic skin diseases. For years it has also been known for helping with primary and secondary infertility.
